The show is organized by the Design Museum. It will be Britain’s biggest fashion show of its own kind. The show will showcase approx 90 types of sarees from India.
It has all types from well-known fashion studios to new designers which will participate in it. It also includes the sari that was worn for the first time at the Met Gala fashion show and also the saree that Lady Gaga wore in 2010.
That saree was designed by fashion designer Tarun Tahliani. The show will also feature the special Jaali sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla which Deepika Padukone wore at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022.

According to Priya Khanchandani who is the curator of the exhibition 5000 years old clothes are being used the most in history at this time. This festival will led a global identity for Indian saree designs.
