The New York Fashion Week Schedule Is Out

The Council of Fashion Designers of America released the official schedule for the New York Fashion Week fall 2023 shows which is going to take place in February.

In a fashion week, Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy will start the season on February 10, returning to New york to show in person after staying in Los Angeles last year. They show their spring 2022 collection at the Westbeth Artists Housing Complex in the West Village .

Thom Browne is also returning to New York City and going to hold a show on Valentine’s Day. The newly-named chairman of the CFDA is amainstay of the Paris collections for almost a decade. Heron Preston who is another American designer with an established presence in the City of Light will return to New York on February 11.
It is going to be his first ever “proper runway show” in the city. Following the European invasion of Marni and Fendi which happened in last season. The Spanish stalwart Palomo Spain is trying to the Big Apple to hold their show on February 13.

Elsewhere on the schedule there is Collina Strada’s Hillary Taymour is keeping her 6 p.m. slot on day of opening .
Luar is closing the week which was previously held by Tom Ford. After Estée Lauder who agreed to acquire the Tom Ford brand late last year.
The designer will not be showing on the runway and the fall collection will released online. After presenting a large-scale shows in last season ,both Tommy Hilfiger and Peter Do are absent from the official calendar as well.

Rounding out the five-day week will be shows and presentations from over 75 designers which includes Anna Sui who is back after a year-and-a-half away,Eckhaus Latta, Puppets and Puppets, Tory Burch, Khaite, Frederick Anderson, Proenza Schouler are also included among others.
